Welcome to the Tale of Robinius.



This should in principle come out as a classical fantasy tale in the end, with dryads, a young hero, love, weird creatures, a dragon and even a flying carpet.



Well.

At least THAT is my intention, but who knows with stories.



I prepared the canvas for it back in August - trying to work out something that might be workable for one who prefers short stories because she has the attention span of a lemming - but if you have attempted to write fiction before, you will know (or recognize) that it is the story that chooses (and rides) the author and not the other way around. For all I know this one might decide to be a space cowboy odyssey or to bugger off completely and go plague somebody else.



As such, I do not know

- If I shall be able to write it all all, what with work and such silly everyday things getting in the way.

- if it shall meet the 50KW objective needed to win NaNoWriMo,

- If winning is really THAT important,

- If 50KW will be sufficient to tell the tale (because I believe that ENDING the tale is important)

- if the story will make much sense at all at the end.

It should - at least as much sense as fantasy stories have - but this is not a guarantee. However, since quality is not actually a requirement for NaNoWriMo, I'll just go along with the flow and try to enjoy myself.



Maybe you will join me in the adventure and enjoy the ride too...
